Water Signs Especially Need Healthy Water

You probably already know that the human body is about 60% water. But did you know that the body uses 10 to 12 cups of water a day on perspiring, breathing, eliminating waste and digesting food?

People must replenish this water loss every day or their bodies quickly become dehydrated. This is particularly true for folks born under the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces sun signs.

The water signs are closely associated with the body`s lymphatic systems and the body liquids. Consuming healthy water helps to maintain the balance of bodily liquids so they function optimally and help promote digestion, improve circulation and absorb nutrients.

Individuals born under a water sign are also extremely sensitive to their environments, especially to any viruses, bacteria or fungi lurking about. Water helps flush these toxins from the body through urination.

Individuals with a water sign can easily pick up negative energy from other people, causing them to suffer from cycles of ill health. Purifying water can also help these individuals flush out this negative energy and keep their bodies healthy.

Water also helps to cool down the body and keeps it properly lubricated. Water signs with low water levels often suffer from stiff joints, sleeping difficulty, dry skin and brittle hair.

You know you are getting enough water when your urine is light-colored, odor-free and flows freely. Folks with low water levels often have difficulty urinating, have bright or dark urine and, occasionally, foul-smelling urine.

Keep in mind that all people, but especially water signs, should consume only healthy, filtered or spring water. Unfiltered water frequently contains contaminants that lead to an excess of water, which in turn, can cause health problems such as weight gain, sluggishness and bloating.


Water signs should start out their day by drinking one to four 8-ounce glasses of room temperature water first thing in the morning. They should also drink one or two 8-ounce glasses of water about 30 minutes before sitting down to a meal.

Along with plenty of healthy water, folks born under a water sign need to eat plenty of moist fruits and vegetables, such as melons, cucumbers, seaweed and steamed vegetables. Beneficial herbs include thyme, olive leaf, parsley and basil.

Water signs should avoid several foods to keep them feeling healthy. Some of the foods they should watch out for include dairy, carbohydrates, yeasty foods and oily foods.

Detox Vegetable Soup With a Water Base

For a healthy body cleanse, you should replace at least one meal a day with this soup. Just make sure that your other meals consist of healthy foods like seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables.


4 quarts filtered or spring water
1 small to medium head of cabbage, sliced thinly into strips
1/2 pound of fresh string beans, trimmed and cut into thirds
4 fresh carrots, sliced
4 fresh celery stalks, chopped
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 large green peppers, chopped
2 15-ounce cans of diced or whole tomatoes


Pour the 4 quarts of water into a large stock pot. Add the cabbage and bring the water to a boil. Turn the heat down to a simmer and cook for 60 minutes.

Add the string beans, carrots, celery stalks and onions to the stock pot. Allow the ingredients to simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the chopped pepper and tomatoes. Allow the soup to simmer for another 30 minutes.

For the best detoxification results, do not add any salt or seasonings to the soup. It might taste a little bland, but it helps to clean the unwanted toxins out of your body and its systems just so long as you use spring or filtered water.
